Inspection and maintenance play a crucial role when it comes to extending the service life of your SOMIC packaging machine. Through regular preventive maintenance, our technicians identify potential issues early, before they lead to downtime.
The annual inspection includes a general functional check, the inspection of electrical and mechanical components for wear, as well as the rectification of faults within the scheduled timeframe. After each visit you will receive a detailed condition report with concrete recommendations for further measures

Training - More knowledge, greater productivity
To ensure your team can operate your packaging machine perfectly from day one, we offer practical, hands‑on training for operators, mechanics, electricians, technicians and administrators. The training sessions take place on-site at your machine, at our facility or virtually - according to your requirements.
In addition to basic training courses, we offer advanced refresher training 3 to 6 months after the initial training. This strengthens in-house expertise, minimizes downtime and protects your investment through proper operation.
Upgrade and Modification - Your system always up to date
Our after-sales team supports you with optimizations, adjustments to changed production requirements and modernizations - including for machines that have been in production for more than 20 years. With our own retrofit department, established for more than 15 years, we complete over 300 successful upgrade projects annually.
The scope ranges from new format sets and Industry 4.0 retrofits to complete changes in the use of existing equipment. Thanks to the digital twin, we can plan and offer many modifications without an on-site visit.
